Here a few of the comment I have collected on the www.starcraft2forum.org.
It seems that many users are getting confuse with the new story of Kerrigan and the entire campaign does not make sense. Specially for passionate Starcraft 2 players like me, it's pretty hard to reconcile the entire plot.
Anyway here's what other users think of the campaign in Starcraft 2.
Muaddib
I've just finished the entire campaign and had to talk about it with somebody!
I am very depressed since the story sucks! That is not what I've expected
Brood War ended with a very clear conclusion - Kerrigan is the ***** queen of the universe. How is it that a small group of rebels together with barely half of the rebuilt Dominion fleet destroyed the greatest force of the universe on it's own main base??!!
Why did we even have brood war with it's magnificent epic story arch and ending (omega mission)?? It's like they took everything and put it in the garbage
It's just doesn't makes sense
And more importantly this hole "curing" Kerrigan thing is the worst part of it all!
What was so good about her character is that after the death of the Over mind (which apparently is Mother Teresa in disguise) Kerrigan regained control of herself and played it "good" but she wasn't good (nor bad exactly) she just did what she wanted - but it was nonetheless HERSELF and not anybody else - so what does it matter if she would loose the Zerg DNA or not? - that won't bring the old Kerrigan back - that was the entire beauty of her character.
This all story just sucks.
What do you think?
Aurora
Well, they did have the Xel'Naga artifact. Without using that they'd have been overrun right away. According to the cinematic, that is. Just look at all the bc's and stuff falling out of the sky during the last mission. The only thing that made it even remotely possible for them to win was the artifact.
Muaddib
True. Which makes the story even more ridicules.
It just seems they threw all the old Starcraft story to the garbage.
From being the dominant force (the only force) of the sector led by the smart and cunning Kerrigan.. It was diminished to just another power that can't even invade the dominion properly or handle a small rebel strike force, a regular power that is led by a regular mindless infested Terran, not the smart queen of blades that outmaneuvered everybody in Brood War.

You think that a class 12 Ghost of unlimited potential is a regular mindless infested Terran? xD
Muaddib
I don't think that.
But they portray her as this stupid mindless infested evil Terran (even if she's "class 12 unlimited potential") that talks a lot - and not as the Smart and cunning Queen of Blades from Brood War that outmaneuvered everybody.

See? I'm not the only one who's pissed of how the entire campaign sucks, but all in all Starcraft 2 still rules.
See you in space!
Now the release of the new Starcraft 2 game has started and we will come to enjoy it as we did before. Starcraft 2 is amazingly great.

Am I the only one that is sick and tired of hearing every game podcast talk about Starcraft 2. It's getting really old already
hahahalif
Till now, I haven't try out Starcraft 2 yet.. Anyone cares to give me guest pass to try..?
cherylrww24
The Protoss in StarCraft 2 are a very dynamic race and can commence off the game in many different ways. As a Protoss
I guess, everybody is enjoying the game after all. As for me, it's been a roller coaster ride.
For now, I'm a bit bias with the Protoss race. Honestly, I have always been a fan so I don't think it's a datable issue.=)

StarCraft 2 New Perks - Better Cinematics
Oh before we move forward with updates on how Starcraft 2 is played, I have a very exciting to share with you.
Now all StarCraft enthusiast that the cinematics of StarCraft is great, so it continues use of pre-rendered cinematic cut scenes to advance the plot while also improving the quality of in-game cut scenes within the levels themselves, which are rendered on-the-fly using the same game engine as the graphics in the game proper. Blizzard states that with the new graphics engine that StarCraft II uses to render the gameplay, they "can actually create in-game cut-scenes of near-cinematic quality".
StarCraft II official website, and in several video demonstrations held by Blizzard.[14][15] Improvements include advanced scenery allocation and more detailed space terrain, such as floating space platforms with planets and asteroids in the background.
Small cliffs, extensions, and even advertising signs were also shown to have been improved and refined.
So I guess this one of the perks of buying the new StarCraft 2 game. Well, I don't know about you but I'm already loving it.
So you I hope you are excited, and I will be seeing you at the galaxy.

Starcraft 2 Multiplayer Upgrades
To give you a bit of an overview, StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty is a military science fiction real-time strategy video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment as a sequel to the award-winning 1998 video game StarCraft.
Released on July 27, 2010, StarCraft II is split into three installments: the base game with the subtitle Wings of Liberty, and two expansion packs, Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void.
Set in the 26th century in a distant part of the Milky Way galaxy, the game is built around three species: the Terrans, human exiles from Earth; the Zerg, a race of insectoid genetic assimilators; and the Protoss, a species with vast psionic power.
Wings of Liberty focuses on the Terrans, while the expansions Heart of the Swarm and Legacy of the Void will focus on the Zerg and Protoss, respectively. The game is set four years after the events of StarCraft: Brood War, and follows the exploits of Jim Raynor as he leads an insurgent group against the autocratic Terran Dominion. The game includes both new and returning characters and locations from the original game.
Well as you probably already know StarCraft 2 is still made by the greatest game makers of all time, which is Blizzard. (That's my opinion of course)
Of course with Starcraft 2, Blizzard brings back the return of the three main races of the game Protoss, Zerg, and Terran. As per Blizzard, this time the game is more heavily focused on the multiplayer aspect when compared to the original Starcraft.
The changes include major changes in the Battle.net, which entails a new competitive "ladder" system for ranked games and new match making mechanics designed to "match-up" players of equal skill levels.
That for me is wicked sick. I mean the better I become the better the players a play with. LOL
So I guess it's time for you to check the main website of Starcraft 2, see it here http://sea.battle.net/sc2/en/buynow?ref=/sc2/.
So that's it for now, next we will talk more of the changes in how the game is played. Just remember, with the new Starcraft 2 your skills will be the basis if you can go up the ladder as a poor, good, very good, and excellent player.
See you at the galaxy.

Welcome Starcraft Gamers
Hi everyone, welcome to my very own fanatic blog of the game STARCRAFT 2. Actually it was just mid July, when the game Starcraft 2 was officially release but so far the game has lived up to the Blizzard way of providing entertainment.
If you are an avid fan like, you know that today's Starcraft it's a whole new ballgame. More characters, more "heroes", and more strategies to learn.
In fact, while I started to use the Starcraft 2 beta version, I couldn't help ask if this was still the Starcraft game that I knew. Hey, I don't mean to over excite but it's truly a whole new set of playing field.
So, if you're an avid Starcraft fan like me stay tuned and come back to this blog and we will together enjoy playing the new world of Starcraft 2.
So you in space.
